FIA Lahore arrests two key suspects in human smuggling case

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Zone has arrested two suspects allegedly involved in human smuggling and visa fraud.

According to an FIA spokesperson, the suspects had taken Rs 950,000 from a citizen by promising to send him to Dubai, but disappeared after failing to fulfil the commitment.

The spokesperson said both men had been wanted since 2018 and had been hiding for years to avoid arrest.Director FIA Lahore Zone Sarfaraz Virk appreciated the team for the successful operation, stating that those involved in human trafficking will not be spared and will be brought to justice.

FIA has launched further legal proceedings against the arrested individuals, and more revelations are expected during interrogation.
