Female university student shot dead in private hostel in Islamabad

Police have registered an FIR on the complaint of the victim’s brother

A tragic incident occurred in a private hostel where a 22-year-old female student of the International Islamic University was shot dead. The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Ramna Police Station.

According to the victim’s brother, an unidentified man entered the hostel around 12:15 PM. When his sister came out of her room, the suspect forced her back inside. In the presence of three roommates, the suspect opened fire on her, killing her on the spot.

Police have registered an FIR on the complaint of the victim’s brother, Zahid, and initiated an investigation into the murder.
