The federal government has announced an aid of Rs 50 lakh for each family of the missing persons.

Federal Law Minister Senator Azam Nazir Tarar says that the state has taken an unusual and historic decision to help the families of the missing persons.

Azam Nazir Tarar said that to join the grief of the families of the missing persons for more than 5 years, Rs 50 lakh will be given as a grant to each family of the missing persons.

He said that the federal cabinet has approved the grant, it is a sincere attitude of the state, it is an effort to alleviate the difficulties of the affected families and share their grief.

The federal minister further said that there are multiple and complex reasons behind the "missing persons", the state is like a mother, the government has proved that time again today, despite the terrible allegations, there is a sincere and commendable step taken by the state and the institutions. The sanctity and protection of every citizen's life is important in Pakistan.

It should be noted that the missing persons had been staging a sit-in in Gwadar for several days, but yesterday after successful negotiations between the head of the Baloch Solidarity Committee, Dr. Mah Rang Baloch and the DC Gwadar, it was announced to end the sit-in and this was done by the government. It was also assured that all the arrested persons would be released.

Now the Home Department of Balochistan has issued a letter to the IG Police and all the Deputy Commissioners of the province, in which they have been directed to release all the persons arrested under 16 MPO from July 24.

Balochistan Interior Department has directed that all the persons arrested in its limits should be released after formal proceedings.
