Bushra Bibi files exoneration petition in 190 million pound reference
RAWALPINDI (SCN News) - A special court heard the 190 million pound reference in Adiala Jail where Bushra Bibi filed an exoneration petition.
NAB abandoned the remaining 14 witnesses as unnecessary, during the hearing. Thus, the request of the lawyers to issue summons to 14 witnesses became ineffective. During the hearing, the PTI founder's lawyer somewhat cross-questioned the NAB investigation officer.
Further hearing of the reference was adjourned till tomorrow (Thursday). PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were presented in the court. Judge Nasir Javed Rana heard the case.
It is to be recalled that the accountability court judge hearing the 190 million pound reference was transferred.
District and Sessions Judge Nasir Javed Rana had been appointed judge of Accountability Court No 1.
