The NOC of the PTI rally in Islamabad was suspended
The NOC of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Islamabad has been suspended.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Commissioner Islamabad on Muharram-e-Haram and other security situation in which officers of security agencies also participated.
According to the district administration, a political party did not participate in the meeting despite the invitation.
The district administration says that the permission given by the DC was re-evaluated in the context of the current security concerns after which the Chief Commissioner Islamabad suspended the NOC of the rally by the Deputy Commissioner.
According to the district administration, the decision to suspend the NOC of the rally was taken to protect the life and property of the citizens.
The district administration says that maintaining public order in Islamabad and protecting the lives and property of citizens is our priority.
