Shafqat Mahmood's announcement to leave politics, also explained the reason
Former federal minister and central leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Shafqat Mehmood has announced to quit politics.
In a statement released on social media website X, Shafqat Mahmood wrote, "After much thought, I have decided to retire from politics, I want to devote the rest of my life to writing and teaching."
Shafqat Mahmood wrote in his statement that this decision is neither the result of any pressure nor the intention to join another party, he has announced his separation from politics due to the requirements of time and age.
The former federal minister said that I am grateful to the founder PTI who gave me the opportunity to serve, I am also grateful to PTI and the voters of the constituency who gave me the honor of representing me twice.
