Paris Diamond League: Pakistan's Julien Tharoor Arshadandim's fourth position, failed to win a medal
Pakistan's top athlete Arshad Nadeem is back on the field after a year, failed to win a medal in the Paris Diamond League but regained his form and rhythm ahead of the Olympics by finishing fourth.
Arshad Nadeem participated in the julyeon throw event at the Diamond League competition held in Paris against the world's best athletes.
In the first innings, Arshad Nadeem threw 74.11 meters and after that gradually improved his throws.
He threw 80.28 meters in the second round, 82.71 meters in the third round. On this occasion he was among the top three.
In the fourth round, he threw 82.17, but in the same round, Jacob Wedlich threw 85 meters and got ahead of Arshad.
In the fifth round, Arshad needed a big throw to break into the top three, but his 84.21 throw was not enough for him, so he had to settle for fourth place.
It was Arshad Nadeem's first major event since August 2023. Arshad, who recently made a comeback from surgery, will be Pakistan's main medal hope at the Paris Olympics this month.
