Pakistan is our ally, our relations are satisfactory: US
The US has said that the relations with Pakistan are very good, in some cases a few differences must emerge between the two allies and partners, but overall the state of relations is satisfactory.
This was said by America's Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Elizabeth Hurst during a conversation at the Mango Party at the Pakistani Embassy.
The US's assurance of stabilizing relations with Pakistan came after the US Congress passed a resolution expressing concern over democracy and human rights in Pakistan. The American accusations and concerns were dismissed as baseless.
Elizabeth Hearst further said that attention is being paid to further strengthen relations with Pakistan. Cooperation has increased in many areas.
