India reached the semifinals of the World Championship of Legends.
In the World Championship of Legends cricket tournament, South Africa defeated the Indian champions by 54 runs in the last match. Despite the defeat, the Indian champions qualified for the semi-finals.
In the match played in Northhampton, the South African champions scored 210 runs for 8 wickets while playing first. Senman 73, Levi 60 were outstanding.
For India, Harbhajan Singh dismissed four players.
India were given a target of 211 runs to win and 153 runs to qualify for the semi-finals.
But in pursuit of the target, India's five wickets fell to 77 runs. After that, the Indian champions set a target of 153 runs instead of winning the match.
Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan shared a partnership of 56 runs. Irfan was run out after scoring 35 runs, but Yusuf Pathan hit Dale Steyn for a six and a four on the next two balls and then hit a boundary on the last ball to take India to 153 runs.
South Africa won the Champions match by 54 runs but could not qualify for the semi-finals.
India have secured the fourth position in the event, they will face Australia in the semi-finals while Pakistan will face West Indies.
