Prayag Raj: In India, the claimant of the world's largest so-called democracy, the land has been narrowed on Muslims.

According to foreign media, a petition has been filed in the Allahabad High Court, claiming that there are traces of a Krishna statue on the steps of the Jama Masjid in Agra.

The petition filed in the High Court has demanded a survey of the Jama Masjid by the ASI (Archaeological Survey of India) and an inquiry by the Advocate Commissioner.

On Thursday, the bench of Justice Manik Kumar Jain heard the petition of Agra lawyer Mahendra Kumar Singh. During the hearing, the Eidgah Committee has also submitted an application to the court to become a party in the case.

Petitioner Mahendra Pratap Singh presented his case in court through video conferencing. The court has fixed the date of August 5 for the next hearing.

In support of his claim, the petitioner Mahendra Pratap Singh has referred to the books of several historians.
