But pop-up ads have never been seen before in this service.
A Google spokesperson confirmed the testing of this new feature.
But the spokesperson said that this is not a new feature.
According to the spokesperson, displaying such content during navigation is not a new concept, it lets users know about hotels, shops or other places near them.
The spokesperson added that to avoid distracting the drivers, these ads appear only when they are clicked and disappear after some time.
