PTI has formed a committee for the preparation of local body elections
Political parties started coming to the field to prepare for local body elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf formed a committee for local body elections.
When the Election Commission accelerated the preparations for the local body elections, the political parties also tightened their belts.
The Punjab government has also mobilized to bring the draft law to the assembly by creating a new local government system, while the People's Party as well as the Tehreek-e-Insaf also started preparing for the local government elections.
Tehreek-e-Insaf Lahore has formed a committee for local body elections, member Punjab Assembly Sheikh Imtiaz Mahmood will be the convener of the committee while MPA Farrukh Javed will be the co-convener.
Hafiz Zeeshan Rasheed, Atif Khan Mayo, Waqar Toor, Haji Fayyaz are also included in the committee members while Mian Nadeem, Chaudhary Nadeem, Malik Qaiser and Sheikh Zulfiqar Ali will also be part of the committee.
The purpose of the committee is to organize and prepare for the local elections at the union council level.
President PTI Lahore Chaudhary Asghar has also issued a notification for the formation of the committee.
