Pakistan's decision to participate in Doha talks on Afghanistan
Pakistan has decided to participate in the Doha talks on Afghanistan under the auspices of the United Nations.
According to diplomatic sources, Pakistan will participate in the talks on Afghanistan in Qatar this week.
Special Representative for Afghanistan Asif Durrani and Ahmed Naseem Waraich will represent Pakistan in these talks, Ahmed Naseem Waraich is the Assistant Secretary for West Asia in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Pakistani delegation led by Asif Durrani and Ahmad Naseem Waraich will go to Doha in the next few days.
The third 2-day Doha talks hosted by the United Nations will be held from June 30.
The Afghan interim government will regularly participate in the third Doha talks this year, the Afghan Taliban interim government boycotted the participation of Afghan women and civil society representatives in the second Doha talks.
