National Assembly: PTI's demand to provide electricity to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa according to production cost

PTI senior leader and former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser while addressing the session of the National Assembly said that worst load shedding has happened in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during Eid holidays.
Asad Qaiser said that the Finance Minister is not present in the House, our speeches are of no use, they are insulting the Parliament, they did not consult the opposition and their allied parties regarding the budget, electricity bills in Swabi. Payment is being made on time but there was 18 hours load shedding during Eid days.
The former speaker of the National Assembly said that the federal government receives 4,000 megawatts of electricity from Tarbela Dam, yet there is 18-hour load shedding in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The government is not ready to sit with us to solve this issue. It is clear in the constitution that There are reservoirs in the area and those areas will be fertilized first.
He further said that now it has been heard that the electricity unit will go up to 75 rupees, out of 2600 MW, 1100 MW electricity is being given to us, gas is produced in our area, we are not being given gas, due to our demand. Accordingly, electricity is not being given, only noise is being made by thieves.
He further said that there is theft without companies? Electricity should be given to us according to the price of electricity generated from water.
