All parties on same page for execution of CPEC project: Deputy PM Ishaq Dar
Islamabad ( SCN ) Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has said that all parties are on the same page for the execution of CPEC project.
Speaking at the China Pakistan Consultative Mechanism meeting, Dar said development and employment opportunities had been created in Pakistan by the CEPC project.
He said this was the important project and the arrival of the Chinese minister in Pakistan was warmly welcomed.
“The visit of the Chinese delegates is a part of promoting bilateral relations,” he said, adding that the people to people ties between the two countries are of immense importance.” He said investments are made in various sectors including energy through CPEC.
The first CPEC project was launched in Pakistan through Belt and Road initiative, he mentioned.
Dar further stated PM Shebaz Sharif's visit to China was a thumping success which has further cemented the bilateral ties.
Chinese’s Communist Party International Organization Minister Liu Jianchao has said the meeting was a welcome step.
He said China attaches immense importance to the friendship between the two countries.
Agreements between Pakistan and China will create new opportunities for development and growth, he concluded.
