Armenia also recognised Palestine as an independent state
According to the World News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has announced that their country has officially recognized Palestine as a state, ignoring strong Israeli opposition.
The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia said that it supports the UN resolution on Israel's immediate cease-fire with Hamas in Gaza and that Palestine is in favor of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
It should be remembered that the Western countries Spain, Ireland and Norway had recently officially recognized the Palestinian state, after which other European countries have taken the same step, including Armenia.
It should be noted that the number of Palestinians martyred in the Israeli bombardment on Gaza since October 7 has exceeded 37,000, while more than 85,000 are injured.
