Baisakhi festival, thousands of Sikh pilgrims from India reached Hasan Abdal
2 thousand 843 Sikh pilgrims arrived in Pakistan from India to participate in Sakhi Mela, Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora and other officials welcomed the guests.
Sikhs reached Pakistan via Wagah border and will stay here for 10 days. Sikh pilgrims will visit Nankana Sahib, Sacha Sauda, Hasan Abdal to perform religious rituals and will return to India on April 22.
On the other hand, Sikh pilgrims from all over the country have started arriving at Gurdwara Panja Sahib Hasan Abdal, the Baisakhi festival will continue for three days.
DPO Attock says that strict security arrangements have been made on the occasion of the celebrations, around 13 hundred officers and officials have been deployed, along with the district police, elite officials will also perform duty.
