Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has announced that Shahbaz Sharif will be the unanimous candidate for the Prime Minister and Asif Ali Zardari will be the joint candidate for the President.
Asif Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto and Shehbaz Sharif held a joint press conference at the end of the meeting on the issue of government formation in the federal government. Speaking on the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto said that the committees of the People's Party and the PML-N after a lot of hard work. Have completed your work.
He said that we have completed our numbers, now we are in a position to form the government.
He further said that Shahbaz Sharif will once again be the Prime Minister of the country, after the election of the Prime Minister, the election of the President of Pakistan is going to be held for which Asif Ali Zardari will be our common candidate.
He said that all of us will get the country out of the problems. We will perform according to the expectations of the people.
On this occasion, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif said that I am thankful for supporting Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto.
He said that he gave a message to the independent candidates that if they can form the government, they will accept them wholeheartedly.
He further said that I am grateful to our leader Nawaz Sharif, due to whom the conversation reached this extent, Pakistan is facing immense challenges at the moment, President Zardari will be elected for 5 years, we will move forward with consultation.
He said that we will fight terrorism in this alliance, we have to put the economy back on its feet, we have to end unemployment and inflation in the country.
On the other hand, the sources say that PPP will take the posts of Governor of Punjab, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chairman of Senate and President of the State while Speaker of National Assembly will be of PML-N.
Sources say that the People's Party will not be a part of the federal cabinet.
