Punjab Assembly Session, newly elected members took oath

A meeting of the Punjab Assembly was held under the chairmanship of the Speaker Assembly Sabtain Khan in which the newly elected members took oath from the Speaker Assembly.

In the first session of the Punjab Assembly, the elected members took oath from the Speaker of the Provincial Assembly. All members of Tehreek-e-Insaaf were also present in the meeting.

Earlier, Maryam Nawaz, PML-N's nominated candidate for the Prime Ministership, called a meeting of the newly elected members of PML-N at 9 am in the lobby of the Assembly. According to the sources, the possibility of Malik Ahmed Khan being nominated as Speaker of Punjab Assembly has been decided in the meeting.

In this regard, the current Speaker Punjab Assembly Sabtain Khan has clarified that the Election Commission will decide the election of Speaker and Deputy Speaker after the decision. In today's proceedings, the elected members will be sworn in.

Sabatin Khan says that I have no program to hold the election of Speaker and Deputy Speaker today, the election will be held tomorrow. Women and minority seats are yet to be worked out.

Earlier, League leader Uzma Bukhari while talking to the media said that Maryam Nawaz is going to start her parliamentary politics today. Earlier, Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif were present in the House.

Uzma Bukhari said that Maryam Nawaz has come to create a separate status in the House and to persuade. Usman Buzdar and Parvez Elahi's remains are going to end, today only the newly elected members will take oath in the House.
