According to People's Party sources, the name of senior party leader and former federal minister Faisal Karim Kundi is included in the list of shortlisted candidates.
According to PPP sources, the names of Amjad Khan Afridi and Shuja Salim Khan are also included in the list of the new governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
