The Saudi cabinet rejected Israeli ambitions regarding Gaza
Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's cabinet rejected Israeli ambitions on Gaza.
According to the foreign news agency, the meeting of the cabinet of Saudi Arabia was chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz. Minister of Information Salman Al-Dosari said after the meeting that regional and international situations were discussed in the cabinet, especially the latest situation in the Palestinian territories was focused on.
He said that the Saudi Arabian cabinet rejected the Israeli ambitions regarding the forced eviction of Gaza residents, the reoccupation of the Gaza Strip and the construction of settlements.
It was clarified in the meeting that the international community must work together to make the accountability system effective for the violation of humanitarian law and international legal regulations.
In addition, Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Britain, said in a conversation with the media that he wants an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
He said that before October 7, Saudi Arabia was very close to Israeli relations and he believes in establishing relations even after October 7.
Saudi Ambassador Prince Khalid said that he has been interested in establishing relations with Israel since 1982 because Israel is a reality to live with but relations are impossible without the establishment of a Palestinian state.
On the other hand, the United States has also opposed any proposal to settle the Palestinians outside of Gaza, but the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blanken, has said that Gaza wants an early end to the war, but it is also important to achieve Israeli goals.
