The Supreme Court while pronouncing the verdict in the life disqualification case has said that the disqualification of politicians will not be for life, after which the life disqualification of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Jahangir Tareen also ended.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan on January 5 reserved its verdict in the case of interpretation of Article 62-1F after the arguments of all the parties were completed.
The verdict was delivered by a ratio of 6:1. Justice Yahya Afridi dissented from the majority verdict.
