Rain and snow storms in the eastern parts of the US, many states are without electricity

In 12 eastern states of America, due to snow storm with wind and rain, the power system was disrupted in some areas.



More than 500,000 consumers have lost power since the power system was affected by the snowstorm.


According to foreign media, the American state of Florida is the most affected, where more than one hundred thousand people are without electricity, while in Georgia, about 50 thousand people do not have access to electricity.


Some parts of the East Coast are experiencing heavy rain, while the Pacific and Northeast are experiencing wind and snow.


Temperatures are predicted to drop further in the US by the end of this week.


Meteorologists say that this will be the coldest season since December 2022.
