Nomination papers of 624 candidates of Tehreek-e-Insaf were rejected

Islamabad (Zahid Gushkuri, Head Hum Investigation Team) Nomination papers of 77 percent of Tehreek-e-Insaf candidates for national and provincial assemblies have been accepted while 23 percent of candidates' papers have been rejected.



Our investigation team brought forward the facts on the nomination papers of Tehreek-e-Insaaf candidates, according to which a total of 2620 candidates supported by Tehreek-e-Insaaf had submitted their papers for 859 general seats of the National and Provincial Assemblies.

According to the official statistics, the papers of 1996 candidates of Tehreek-e-Insaf were approved and the papers of 624 national and provincial assemblies were rejected.


843 candidates of Tehreek-e-Insaf had submitted their papers for the National Assembly, about 598 candidates' papers i.e. 71% of the National Assembly candidates' papers were approved and 245 i.e. 29% were rejected.


1777 candidates of Tehreek-e-Insaf submitted their papers for the provincial assemblies, about 1398 candidates i.e. 79% of the candidates' papers of the provincial assemblies were approved and 379 candidates i.e. 21% were rejected.
