Missile attacks on American ships by Houthis
Yemen's Houthis launched missile attacks on 3 ships in the Red Sea.
According to a foreign news agency, US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said in a statement that the US Navy destroyed 2 missiles fired by the Houthis and one fell away from the target. Additional measures are needed to protect shipping.
The American Central Command said that the target of the Houthi attacks was the American container ship, but the ship, cargo and crew were not damaged in the attack.
The shipping company said that the US Navy, which was guarding the container ships, shot down several of the missiles fired and the US Navy safely delivered the ships to the Gulf of Aden.
