I was kept in the AIDS ward, Haleem Adil Shaikh

I have been kept in the AIDS ward, Haleem Adil Shaikh complained in the court.



Anti-Terrorism Court Karachi heard cases related to May 9 incidents, PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Shaikh was presented in Anti-Terrorism Court.


The court asked for the details of the facilities provided to Haleem Adil Sheikh in the jail. During the hearing, Haleem Adil Sheikh said that according to the law, the facilities which should be provided in the jail are not being provided.

They said that I have been kept in the ward with AIDS patients, we are human beings and should be given facilities according to the rights given by the law. We are all prisoners of conscience, our leader is also suffering the punishment.


Haleem Adil Sheikh further said that if I hold a press conference today, if I trade my conscience, I will be released tomorrow.


The Anti-Terrorism Court adjourned the further hearing of the Karachi cases till February 13.


Haleem Adil Sheikh, while talking informally to lawyers and media representatives on the occasion of court appearance, said that Bilawal Bhutto's so-called sympathy with PTI workers and crocodile tears are only to steal votes of PTI.
