Hammad Azhar and Sanam Javed were also disqualified
The nomination papers of Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Hamad Azhar and activist Sanam Javed were also rejected.
Appellate Tribunal judge Justice Tariq Nadeem dismissed Hamad Azhar's appeal from NA-129 while upholding the decision of the Returning Officer.
Apart from this, the Appellate Tribunal of Lahore High Court dismissed Sanam Javed's appeals against the rejection of papers from Constituency NA 119 and 120.
It should be noted that Sanam Javed had submitted papers from NA 119 and 120 while declaring to contest election from jail. He had announced to contest the election against Maryam Nawaz.
