Decision to collect airport charges from passengers traveling by domestic air
The Civil Aviation Authority has imposed airport charges on passengers traveling by domestic air.
A fee of Rs 100 has been fixed as airport charges on domestic flight passengers.
Now, the airlines will collect Rs.100 as a fee from domestic passengers and give it to the Civil Aviation Authority.
A notification has been issued to levy a fee of Rs 100 on domestic flight passengers.
According to Civil Aviation, the order for collection of airport charges fee has come into effect from January 15.
