Army Chief's visit to Bahrain, the ruler awarded the Military Medal of the Order of Bahrain
Army Chief Asim Munir on a 2-day official visit to Bahrain held meetings with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and commanders of the Bahraini forces, in which they discussed bilateral military and security issues.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Chief of the Pakistan Army, General Asim Munir, during his two-day official visit to Bahrain, Bahraini Ruler Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain Defense Forces. Had a meeting with the Commander Field Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and the Commander of the Bahrain National Guard, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa.
During these meetings, issues of mutual interest including bilateral military and security cooperation were discussed.
The Bahraini leadership appreciated the achievements of the Pakistan Army in the war against terrorism and the ongoing efforts for regional peace and stability.
Army Chief General Asim Muneer attended the 27th Foundation Day of Bahrain National Guard as the Chief Guest where he was warmly welcomed and presented with a Guard of Honour.
In the event, spectacular demonstrations related to the anti-terrorist training exercise were presented.
Commander Bahrain National Guard thanked Pakistan Army for providing high professional training to Bahrain National Guard in military and counter-terrorism fields.
The Ruler of Bahrain also awarded Military Medal Order of Bahrain First Class to Army Chief General Asim Munir in recognition of his role in promoting bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
