According to the railway spokesperson, 3 coaches of Shalimar Express derailed near Bin Qasim area of Karachi, but there was no loss of life.
Up and down tracks were closed after the bogies of Shalimar Express derailed. Due to the accident, Khyber Mail from Peshawar was diverted to Jang Shahi Station, Awam Express to Peshawar was diverted to Juma Goth Station and Hazara Express to Havelian was diverted to Bin Qasim. Stopped.
According to the spokesperson, a relief train has been dispatched to the accident site. It should be noted that 4 days ago Shalimar Express from Karachi to Lahore had an accident near Padaidan.
